Heirs General Insurance, the general insurance member of Heirs Insurance Group, has announced the appointment of Ndubisi Alu as Executive Director, Technical, following approval by the National Insurance Commission (NAICOM).
Ndubisi has been an integral part of the organisation, contributing significantly to its technical operations and growth journey. His elevation to the Executive Director role reflects both his proven expertise and HIG’s commitment to growth. Prior to his appointment as Executive Director, Ndubisi served as Head of Technical, Heirs General Insurance where he oversaw underwriting, risk management and re-insurance activities.
This appointment marks another milestone in HIG’s mission to redefine insurance in Nigeria, as the Group continues to build a leadership team that blends technical depth with innovative thinking. Since its launch in 2021, HIG has carved out a reputation for rapid growth, driven by digital solutions and a customer first approach.
With a strong background in underwriting, risk management, and technical operations, Ndubisi has played pivotal roles in shaping insurance practices that balance regulatory compliance with customer value. His new role underscores HIG’s determination to strengthen its technical backbone while expanding its reach in the non-life insurance market.
